Hey Karma!

On my way to work this morning I saw a wreck happen. A car veered out of control a couple hundred yards in front of me and crashed into a concrete barrier in front of a store. The driver got out, and others had already stopped, so I called 911 to let them know an accident had happened and went about my merry way thinking I had done my good deed for the day. Nope.

I stopped at a gas station to fill up, and immediately after I got out of my car a woman asked me if I could change her flat tire. I was early for work, so I thought I’d help her out. I figured she could use some assistance, and I hope that if my wife was in a similar situation and needed some help that someone would give their time too.

So I begin to change the woman’s tire, but there is one nut that’s really stuck on tight. As I am putting all my weight on getting the nut loose, the woman begins to tap her feet – passively telling me to “Hurry up.” I ignore her and keep going, and as I am putting the spare tire on she tells me that her husband can change a flat tire “In about five minutes.” I explain to her that it’s too bad he isn’t here at this exact moment, though I’m sure he’s pretty damned happy about that.

I finish up, put the flat tire and the jack in her trunk and ask if she could go inside and get some paper towels so I could wipe off my hands. “Sorry” she tells me, “I’m late.” She hops in her car and is gone without so much as a “Thanks.” Karma, if you’re reading this – Have at her…

WOW, I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO SAY... I'D HAVE HAD HER TAKE A GO AT THE STUCK NUT. DOESN'T SHIT LIKE THAT JUST LEAVE A BAD TASTE IN YOUR MOUTH. YOU DIDN'T HAPPEN TO GET A PLATE #... I'M SURE YOU COULD HAVE "SOMEBODY" TRACK DOWN AN ADDRESS AND HAVE "SOMEBODY" HEAD OVER THERE AND "TAKE CARE OF" HER OTHER TIRES FOR HER. THEN WATCH WHILE HER HUSBAND SPENDS "5 MIN" CHANGING THEM ALL.
OTHER THAN THAT, YOU DO HAVE THE SATISFACTION OF BEING A NICE GUY AND A HAVING A TRUELY GOOD BLOGWOTHY STORY TO TELL, CAN'T BEAT THAT.

Yeah, I can think of "somebody" who has a few words for her and would be happy to take care of that for you.
